Morro Cloud Manager
Cloud-based management software for business admin and system admin to manage storage usage, users and groups, and Morro Gateway devices. It also supports storage analytics on per user account, per gateway, per share basis for business planning and resource optimization.
Cloud Storage Gateway
A Morro Cloud Storage Gateway device sits on premises and acts as a bridge between users and Morro Cloud Storage. It acts as a network file server and users can access files from PC/Mac without installing any additional software.

xCache
xCache is the technology behind Morro Cloud Storage Gateway. It performs file syncing and caches recently accessed files, enabling high-speed file access.
Global File System
A file system is a logical structure for files being organized on the storage. Files in Morro Global File System are stored in Morro Cloud Storage, cached on the Cloud Storage Gateways globally, and accessed either on premises or on the Internet.
Share
A share is a top-level folder on a network. In a Morro Global File System, files are accessed via shares on the gateway and do not take up disk space in user’s PC. Share belongs in a Pool.
Pool
A pool is a collection of shares that have the same properties such as versioning policy. Multiple pools can be defined for different storage properties. All files in a pool are de-duplicated, minimizing cloud storage space used.
User Share Permissions
Share access permissions can be set per user/group. Individual file/folder access control can also be set from Windows/Mac.
Location Aware Permissions
Access to shares can be restricted based on which gateway is used and whether the user is on premises.
ECHO
ECHO mirrors files between a share and a third-party file sharing service such as Dropbox or OneDrive. Via ECHO, the user's Morro File System is connected to third-party file sharing services for external sharing or collaboration.
CacheDrive in Cloud
A cloud-based Morro Cloud Storage Gateway running in Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS. They can be deployed and managed by Morro or by the user. Generally, they are accessed through VPN or by virtual PCs (DaaS or VDI) on the same service.
